AMAZING. Not much more to say than that. I love me some food from the Louisiana world and this place other than a couple spots in New Orleans that I've eaten at was the best I've had. Go here, if you don't.. Your loss. The cajun sausage biscuits and gravy special is a must try!

Great brunch option with spicy Cajun food available. Feels a bit like a hole-in-the-wall DIY vibe but the wait staff and stewards are friendly and engaging. Brunch was good and saw thst the griddle pancakes are huge - perhaps I'll have to give them a try next time!

This place made me believe in mankind again. Soooo great. I had the swamp omelet which was just terrific. My fiancee had the huevos rancheros that we're also delightful. The side of pancake did make her smile again. Was really great! Price is also super great. My dish was about 9.75 which I find amazing. Go check it out!

Every time I shop at Artist & Craftsman across the street I have seen this little place and am kicking myself for not trying it sooner. It was my daughter's choice for breakfast this morning and I am so glad we went! We were able to park right in front as it was about 8:30 in the morning. The tables are small, but the server offered to take some of the stuff away that we didn't need. We both got the breakfast sandwich, which was egg, sausage, and cheese on a toasted English muffin. I chose grits as my side while my daughter got the rice and beans, which were delicious! A little spicy for me first thing in the morning, but super good. We both got pancakes as an extra. I got blueberries in mine. Most places use the big fat blueberries but Bayou Kitchen uses the Wyman's wild blueberries, the small ones, which I prefer. We chose to upgrade our syrup to the real stuff, which made the already delicious pancakes even better. As a side note for me, thank you for not contributing to plastic waste by serving your cream and your syrup in those cute little pitchers. The staff was very friendly, said hello as soon as we entered, and our meal came out in good time. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. We will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu.

Delicious food, friendly service. Loved the variety of choices, specially the cornbread! I got the jalapeno cheddar cheese cornbread, my friend got the blueberry one.

These guys cooked the most nostalgic breakfast I’ve had in awhile! I tried the cajun omelette (with crawfish). When my friend said she only wanted water for drink, they brought out a huge cup for her—yess. Love the funky decor and the staff were fabulous. Definitely coming back.

Finally stopped just driving by and had late brekky today. A cool throwback vibe atmosphere with super friendly and competent service staff and very good chefs! I had the Cajun Scramble (eggs, cheese, Andouille sausage and jalapeno peppers with rice and beans and cornbread. Very tasty and perfectly prepared. Such nice cornbread. A little on the spicy side due to their pedigree so order carefully! But this place beats most of the standard breakfast menu places out there so if you want a place that is low fi, funky, friendly and you are looking to treat your taste buds, rock up here. I've now gotta go back for the Jambalaya and Gumbo! Thank you Bayou Kitchen.

Great funky location for delicious breakfast and lunch. The gumbo is excellent and is go-to dish when I need some comfort food. Going on a weekday meant a more relaxed meal. On sunny Sundays there might be a wait. It’s worth it! The music is upbeat and you might even hear a few of the staff singing along. Special bonus today: our wait staff
